Makes me remember vividly the day! I had Grandma Betty watching tv while I took Caity to school never dreaming my world would never be the same again! First thing I did while watching the news was to call you to see if you were ok. Somehow I got through and was so relieved to hear your voice! You were on the steps trying to get out of your building. I didn’t speak to you again for 24 hours but I knew for sure you were alive. I took some comfort from that but never relaxed for years and now…??? Thanks for reminding me how lucky I was to still have all my babies alive!
Your recollection of being paranoid about a lack of productivity, and "what the boss is going to think," while you and everyone else watch the fucking world burn, is still such an accurate description of life in corporate America. May I forever remain #delivert
