Whoa – Whoa – Whoa – Whoa! What a fruitful post for me, and I didn't even partake in all of the possibilities! First—goth Krista Tippet—ha ha! Then, "Nothing in the universe is hidden", sheesh. Next, the Thich Nhat Hahn quote—GAH. Then the Iris Murdoch quote! Which I sent to a friend because we were at an art opening last night and were trying not to be too scathing. Then the Think in Colour quiz! Which I did, and loved what my brain looked like, and sent to a bunch of people. Then the Bill Evans documentary! Which I sent to my husband because he loves him. And finally... Dan Hunt. Holy shit. Thanks for all of that, Sara.

I appreciated your candor throughout! I'm curious if you have heard of Leo Gura? I listened to his podcast session with Curt Jaimungal's Theories of Everything. He discusses non-duality, how all things are connected, how we are all God in some sense. It was challenging in the best sense possible. I didn't want to listen, because it brings the universe to me and me to the universe in an almost exposing way. Great stuff! Also, I loved the "Thinking in Color" quiz, especially when it asked "Have you already formed an opinion about this quiz?" LOL - yes! Yes I did :)

Great stuff, thanks! The Jesse Evers link appears to be broken, however. Would love to check it out.

I'm really interested in Foster, the collective of online writers that you mentioned at the top of your post. I followed the link and ended up installing an app, but I'm confused about how it works. I was wondering if you could possibly explain it further? If it's private or something like that, I'll uninstall it.

This is such a great post, and I'm also grateful to Edith Zimmerman because she allowed me to discover you. I think you're right that Dogen is saying that the truth is always is right in front of us. It is somewhat hidden, though. We obscure it ourselves with our own delusion, but I don't think that's such a bad thing.

"To see things as they are instead of as you wish them to be, or forming some kind of value judgment about them." My greatest struggle right now. Thank you, Sara.

I came here because Lyndsey reads both of us and I love checking out who people who read me read. I'm so glad I did! This is beautiful and Dust, OMG (literally, I guess). And I had to read this one because my recent post was Meaning Is All There Is. Duh. I'm delighted to have found you.
