This was such a wonderful edition, and very well timed. I am also a cerebral person who makes pros and cons list about everything, until a few years ago. I started leaning into trusting my intuition more, since my pros/cons list usually made me end up choosing the thing I really didn't want to do.

My intuition finally lead me to leave an 18-year relationship that I'd been contemplating leaving off and on for 6+ years. While the separation was emotional, to be sure, I've never felt lighter or more trusting of myself because, finally, after all that time, I did what my gut/intuition was leading me too. There is so much I don't know about "what's next", but I don't need to know it all - life will happen whether I know what is next or not. But I'm ready for it :)

I shared with folks on Monday this beautiful Hebrew prayer which translates as “From a Narrow Place I call out [to God] and am answered with Spaciousness”. It feels like the most perfect all-purpose prayer I’ve encountered in a long time. Second only to “Thank you.” So often we work our way into narrow places. Simply asking for spaciousness from whoever or whatever we bow to opens up the door for possibility and intuition, I think. It can be scary, true, but also so freeing.

I know it's not really my business to tell you where to live, but personally I'm glad that (at least for the time being) you're staying at the Zen Center. Having you there has been a great help to many people -- though that shouldn't bind you. Just want to say that your putting up with it has not been in vain.
